In the spring of 2003, Pastor Steve asked Shelley and I to be the College and Career Pastors of Heartland World Ministries Church. We were humbled and ready to start dreaming with God! Our first ministry name was RAV. We were so proud. It stood for Ravishing the Heart of God. It worked at the time. You had to be there. I drove to an 8-5 secular job for 2 years while ministering at night in living rooms and rented facilities. It was explosive! I knew one day our small group would change world history!

In July of 2005 I came onboard full-time at Heartland and renamed the ministry to 316. You guessed it… John 3:16. We moved from ravishers to evangelists. We evangelized to everyone and anyone who would give us the time or day. We invaded the workplace and started DFW Encounter. Monthly business men & women would be encouraged and impacted with the gospel monthly. Stan Herrell was instrumental in this ministry. We started a Campus Ministry at University of Texas Arlington. Virginia Sizer was the President and did a bang up job! It was so electrifying to see Muslims, Hindus, and a hodgepodge of folks weeping at the foot of the Cross. Another 316 event was a crusade Zico Pollari led for 316 in Finland! It was estimated that 1,000 college & career got saved, delivered, filled, and healed in a one week gathering. A half dozen other ministries were birthed out of 316 and are thriving at Heartland today!

In November of 2006, the leadership team headed by Valerie Sewell, Mike Duncan, and a dozen other extraordinary men and women began to feel a shifting again. I love change! We were ravishing evangelist now with a voice! You guessed it. Our name changed to One Voice. Since then, The One Voice community has evolved into an army that will change world history one soul at a time.
